A series of conversations with artists and creative professionals of international repute explores art as an inventive process, meeting of experiences, a tool for change. To guarantee the accessiblity of our presentations for deaf people, interpretation in Italian Sign Language (LIS) is provided for all presenations in Italian language in collaboration with the Mason Perkins Deafness Fund. 

Una serie di chiacchierate con artisti e personalità del mondo della cultura di respiro internazionale racconta l’arte come processo creativo, incontro di esperienze, strumento di cambiamento. Per garantire l'accessibilità delle nostre chiacchierate d'arte alle persone sorde, per tutte le presentazioni in italiano sarà fornito un servizio di interpretariato in LIS (Lingua dei Segni Italiana), in collaborazione con Mason Perkins Deafness Fund.

American ceramicist, in residence at the Museo della Terracotta in Petroio, Neil Tetkowski will present a selection of his recent artworks and discuss his use of clay, the perfect medium to express his relationship to the natural environment.

Presentation in Italian with synopsis in English, and interpretation service in LIS (Italian Sign Language) offered in collaboration with the Mason Perkins Deafness Fund Onlus.

Alex Mendez Giner

Alex Mendez Giner is an award winner filmmaker with over 15 years of experience as a film director. His works explore human relationships, through films set in the frontier between reality and imagination. His films have been shown in more than 20 countries around the globe and he has obtained several awards; of particular relevance is the Audience Choice Award presented at the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival. His most recent work, "The Book of Judith," received a production grant from the New York State Council of the Arts and has shown in many international film festivals including the 16th Milan International Film Festival and the 37th Durban International Film Festival.

He currently teaches film at Syracuse University.
