Madyha J. Leghari (b. 1991) in residenza presso il Siena Art Institute, è un'artista visiva e scrittrice che vive a Lahore, Pakistan. Ha conseguito un BFA presso il National College of Arts, Lahore (2013) e un MFA presso il Massachusetts College of Art and Design (2018) grazie a una borsa di studio Fulbright. La sua pratica ruota spesso attorno ai "silenzi creati dai fallimenti del linguaggio".

Madyha J. Leghari (b. 1991), resident artist at Siena Art Institute, is a visual artist and writer based in Lahore. She pursued a BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore (2013) and an MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (2018) on a Fulbright Scholarship. Her practice often revolves around the 'silences created by the failures of language'.

The visual artist Madyha J. Leghari will open the season of STARTERS LIVE Tuesday April 21st at 5:30pm Siena time (11:30am New York time) connecting with us direct from Lahore, Pakistan (presentation in English). Leghari was artist-in-residence in the early months of 2020 at the Siena Art Institute.

The protagonists in the upcoming appoinments for our broadcasts will be other artists well-known in Siena, who want to demonstrate their affection for our Tuscan city through their participation: Laura Marsh, Gabriel Feld, Alexandros Georgiou, Magdalena Maslerz and many more!
