Summer Programs

Summer Housing

 For our 4-week summer course "Advanced Portfolio Development" and our 2-week course "Experimental Typeface Design", the cost of accommodation is included in the program fee (double room in a shared apartment).   Although our standard accommodation is a shared room in a shared apartment, there are other housing options available for a higher fee.  Please let us know as soon as you apply if you are interested in housing beyond our standard accommodation of a shared room, (since we need to book your accommodation as soon as your program deposit is received, and this payment is non refundable.)  Please contact us for more information. 


If you wish to opt out of the shared housing included in the program fee, we recommend that summer students consider staying in a local bed and breakfast, such as:

The Hotel we most like to suggest to visitors is Pensione Palazzo Ravizza, a beautiful old palazzo turned into a hotel by the Director’s great aunts and currently managed by her brother Francesco.
