Nov 1 2022 is our application deadline for the Spring 2023 semester.

Dates for our Spring 2023 semester are Monday January 30 - Friday April 28, 2023
- Jan 23-27: Pre-departure online orientation meetings and Italian language intro.
- Jan 30: Students meet the school staff at Florence’s Peretola Airport. We ask that students arrive by 2pm in time to meet staff at the arrivals area by 3pm at the latest. Note: For U.S. students this means catching a flight on Sunday Jan 29 to arrive to Italy on Jan 30.
- Jan 31-Feb 3: Orientation & Intensive Italian intro
- February 4: Intensive Italian quiz
- February 6: Elective Courses begin
- March 20-23: Midterm exams and critiques
- April 7-10: Long weekend break (Easter Sunday April 9)
- April 22: End-of-Semester Exhibition Inauguration 4-6pm
- April 24-26: Final Exams and Critiques
- April 26: Final Dinner
- April 27-28: Departure (You are responsible for your own return transportation.)
This calendar allows us to fit our semester program into 89 days, thus reducing the need for American students to apply for an Italian study visa. (More information can be found through the US Embassy website ) As the visa application requires trips to the Italian embassy to complete the paperwork process and cost over a hundred dollars to be processed, we feel that it is best to avoid this step. We have thus scheduled our Spring 2023 schedule accordingly to avoid the hassle. Please don't hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions.
