SPart - Social Practice art in Siena
Il Siena Art Institute realizza SPart - Social Practice art in Siena, un progetto di formazione interna e sperimentazione sul tema della Social Practice.
Lo staff, gli artisti, gli insegnanti del Siena Art Institute hanno partecipato a una due giorni di formazione dedicata alla Social Practice, affidata all'artista Amy Khoshbin, per poi realizzare tre progetti pilota finalizzati a sperimentare nuove modalità di collaborazione e coprogettazione con organizzazioni ed enti appartenenti al mondo del sociale. Grazie a una partnership con Riabilita OdV, Società di Pie Disposizioni Onlus, Casa Circondariale di Siena, gli artisti del Siena Art Institute si sono messi alla prova nella realizzazione di progetti in un dialogo con la dimensione del sociale, mentre il Pratt Institute di New York ha supervisionato l'aspetto della formazione.
Il progetto è realizzato con il contributo di Fondazione MPS nel contesto del programma di RESET 2021.

The Siena Art Institute led SPart - Social Practice art in Siena, an internal training and experimentation project on the theme of Social Practice.
The staff, artists and teachers of the Siena Art Institute participated in a two-day training session dedicated to Social Practice, entrusted to the artist Amy Khoshbin, and then carried out three pilot projects aimed at experimenting with new methods of collaboration and co-planning with organizations and entities belonging to the social world. Thanks to a partnership with Riabilita OdV, Società di Pie Disposizioni Onlus, Casa Circondariale di Siena, the artists of the Siena Art Institute put themselves to the test in the creation of projects in a dialogue with the social dimension, while the Pratt Institute of New York oversaw the training aspect.
The project was carried out with the contribution of the MPS Foundation in the context of the RESET 2021 program.
