Summer Students exploring Siena's many resources and cultural sites

During the Orientation for our Portfolio Development course, our summer students have been exploring Siena and its many resources and cultural centers.  Activities have included touring the City Hall, the museum complex of Santa Maria della Scala, and Siena's Cathedral.  We had the opportunity to go on a walk led by artist Bernardo Giorgi, exploring the streets of Siena from the perspective of a contemporary artist, and the "Tempo Zulu" collaborative artistic platform.  Today we had a busy morning exploring some of the city's resources, with students of the Siena Art Institute's Portfolio Development Summer Course, visiting artist Elaine Tin Nyo and visiting professor Barbara Campbell Thomas.
