Curtis Mitchell artist's talk June 27 at Lombardi Arte Gallery 6:15pm
Curtis Mitchell is an American artist who works in video installation, sculpture, and photography. (testo in italiano sotto) Mitchell is currently artist-in-residence at the Siena Art Institute, in partnership with the Pratt Institute School of Fine Arts (New York) where he teaches. During his talk hosted by the Lombardi Arte gallery, the artist will discuss with the audience his inspirations and present a selection of recent projects. The event will be followed by refreshments. Free and open to the public, presentation in English with interpretation in ASL (American Sign Language).
L’artista americano Curtis Mitchell lavora con installazioni video, scultura, e fotografia. Nel mese di giugno Mitchell è artista in residenza al Siena Art Institute grazie a una collaborazione con la Pratt Institute School of Fine Arts di New York, dove insegna. A questo appuntamento del ciclo StARTers - Assaggi d'Arte, ospitato dalla galleria Lombardi Arte, Mitchell parlerà con il pubblico delle sue fonti di ispirazione e presenterà una selezione dei suoi progetti recenti. L’evento si concluderà con un aperitivo. Ingresso libero, presentazione in inglese con servizio di interpretariato in ASL (Lingua dei Segni Americana).
