We’re happy to announce the upcoming arrival of our new Artist in Residence Thea Gregorius! To celebrate, we invite the Siena Art Institute’s community to come meet her at Il Punto/The Point for an informal chat with Aperitivo Tuesday April 7th at 18.00. During the talk the Artist will showcase some of her previous work, her personal research so far and her future plans for the Residency here in Siena.

About the Artist
Thea Gregorius is an artist working in sculptural works on paper, papermaking and ceramics. She has exhibited internationally including a solo exhibition at Larrie in New York, NY. She has been awarded the Manhattan Graphic Center Scholarship and has been an an artist in residence at The League Residency at VYT, the Vermont Studio Center, PLAYA Fellowship Program, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, Arts Atrium, the Saltonstall Foundation, Casa Tagumerche, L’appartamento Napoli, Jentel Artist Residency, Masseria Cultura, Nocefresca, Wassaic Project, Viafarini, Labo Bosa, the Materia Prima Foundation, The Josef & Anni Albers Foundation and the Retina residency. She holds a BFA from New York University and lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
