The workshop in Villa Rubini

Dal 23 al 27 Giugno si è svolto Den Day-lo spazio sicuro, un progetto dedicato ad un gruppo di bambini e ragazzi di Siena dai 6 ai 12 anni.

The young explorers discovered nature through a series of thematic workshops lead by a group of artists and various professionals.

Following in the animal’s footsteps In the hands of our Videomaker and Alpine Guide the little explorers immersed themselves in the world of wildlife learning how to follow traces, observe the environment around them and impersonating erbivores and carnivores!

Den Dreams The kids learned the history around this peculiar type of building and got to make their own! They designed special colorful patches that they later sewed by hand on the Den to make it unique and fun!

Beekeeper wannabee Our Apiculture expert showed the group of kids the magic world of bees thanks to a special see-through hive. They learnt how a beehive works, the different types of bees and they even got to write and enact their own stories!

The underwoods Using clay they sculpted their own mushroom to build a forest of colorful, fun fungi!

…and the exploration goes on! We will host an extra session soon to let our little explorers finalize their creations and share once more their love for adventure!

The project is organized by Siena Art Institute in partnership with Le Ali.

The initiative is part of the project
