Tseng Yu Chin is a video artist and experimental filmmaker based between Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris, whose practice explores the relationship between the human body, subjective consciousness, and contemporary political realities. Working within the language of extended cinema, he uses moving images to examine identity, self-existence, and the tensions between individual experience and social structures. His internationally recognized works, including the Child Body and Teen Body series, investigate the body as both a site of vulnerability and resistance. Through video, installation, text, and sound, Tseng constructs critical reflections on presence, absence, and the psychological impact of modern society.
