Nat Meade (born 1975, Greenfield, Massachusetts; grew up in Portland, Oregon) is a Brooklyn-based American painter and educator known for figurative work that explores elevated, absurd, and archetypal representations of the human condition. His paintings often examine identity and male archetypes through expressive figures and textured surfaces. Meade received his BFA from the University of Oregon, MFA from Pratt Institute, and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
