Laura Marsh

Laura Marsh is an American textile artist and social practice artist known for immersive weaving installations that foster community engagement and storytelling. Her fiber art and site-specific installations incorporate tactile materials, woven text, and participatory environments that explore themes of labor, place, and collective care. Rooted in a DIY ethos and influenced by her working-class upbringing in Pennsylvania, Marsh activates underused spaces through socially engaged art. She holds an MFA from the Yale School of Art and a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Printed Matter, and galleries nationwide.
