Laoighseach Ní Choistealbha is a poet, performer, and Irish-language writer from the west of Ireland. Her work explores themes of place, memory, identity, and the body, drawing from both personal and collective experience. She writes primarily in Irish and is committed to expanding the visibility of contemporary Irish-language literature through performance and interdisciplinary collaboration. Laoighseach has performed at international festivals and venues across Ireland, Italy, and beyond. In 2023, she was a Special Guest at the Policromia Poetry Festival in Siena, Italy. She is also a regular contributor to cultural conversations around language, creativity, and community, with work that bridges traditional and experimental forms.
