Dimitris Xonoglou is a Greek artist born in Proti, Serres, who studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma and ceramics at the Scuola di S. Giacomo di Roma. He lives and works in Thessaloniki, where he is Professor in the School of Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His work has been shown extensively in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and internationally, including presentations at the Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, museums and galleries in Germany, France, Italy, China, and Turkey, and major institutions such as the Benaki Museum and the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art. His residency at the Siena Art Institute is supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
