Blair Fell is a New York City–based writer whose television credits include Queer as Folk and the Emmy Award–winning California Connected. He has written dozens of plays, including the award-winning Naked Will, The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun, and the downtown cult miniseries Burning Habits. His personal essays have appeared in HuffPost, Out, and the New York Daily News. A two-time recipient of the Doris Lippman Prize in Creative Writing from the City College of New York, he has also worked since 1993 as an ASL interpreter for the Deaf, alongside careers as an actor, producer, and director.
