Scrittrice, poetessa, educatrice ed artista, la newyorkese Elaine Sexton ha portato in tutto il mondo le sue pubblicazioni ed esposizioni, ed è ora a Siena in qualità di artista in residenza del Siena Art Institute per il mese di ottobre.
Per questo incontro del ciclo StARTers - Assaggi d'Arte, Sexton parlerà del suo processo creativo e dei punti di contatto tra il suo lavoro di artista visiva e la composizione di poesie.
L'evento, in lingua inglese, è a ingresso libero e si concluderà con un aperitivo.

An internationally published writer, artist, and educator, New Yorker Elaine Sexton is currently in residence at the Siena Art Institute for the month of October. For this meeting of our ongoing series "StARTers: Assaggi d'Arte" (Tastes of Art) Sexton will speak about her creative process, what composing poems and her work in mixed-media, in particular, have in common.
The presentation will be in English, free and open to the public, and will be followed by refreshments.

The "StARTers" talk at the Siena Art Institute are conversations accompanied by refreshments with protagonists of the local and international cultural panorama. All our StARTers events are free and open to the public.
