Video: Cantiere Patrimonio Exhibit
This exhibition is the culmination of the project Cantiere Patrimonio, a reciprocal exchange between international designers and artists, the Sienese community, and students of all ages, inspired by the remarkable collection of the Fisiocritici Museum of Natural History. We're interested in activating a new appreciation of the museum for local and international audiences, especially in younger generations, seeing the museum as not only an important historic institution, but a resource for sparking the creation of new projects. For a series of workshops and artistic residencies throughout this past year, the Fisiocritici Museum has served as an important site to explore cultural heritage as an ongoing process of creativity. The objects and artworks created in this project have been displayed throughout the museum for this temporary exhibition, interspersed within the pieces of the museum's permanent collection.
