She is the author of three collections of poetry: Prospect/Refuge (Sheep Meadow, 2015), Causeway (New Issues, 2008), and Sleuth (New Issues, 2003). Her poems, essays, reviews, works of art, and interviews with artists and writers have appeared widely in journals and in anthologies internationally. Her visual artwork crosses genres from text to mixed-media, collage and photography. In 2016, as bookmaker and publisher, she started a micro press, Combine Books, in collaboration with writer Heather Sellers. She has taught in the graduate writing program at City College (CUNY), and numerous writing and art centers in the U.S. and abroad, most recently, in 2017, at the Arts Workshop International (Assisi) and Poets House (New York, NY).  She currently teaches text and image and poetry workshops at New York University and Sarah Lawrence College.

Sidra Zubairi is a Doha based social designer and innovator with a background in jewelry and accessory design. Through her hybridized practice as an interdisciplinary artist and designer, she is often inspired to create works that speak about social and cultural difficulties currently existing in the world. Sidra utilizes digital fabrication processes as well as hand crafting techniques in her artworks. By altering the forms and materials, her work is an examination of social artefacts that encourage audience interaction.
