Exploring the historic center of San Gimignano
Our winter-term study-abroad students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago had the opportunity to tour the historic center of San Gimignano, a UNESCO world heritage site here in the Province of Siena. The students were able to explore the medieval architecture as well as views of the surrounding landscape and contemporary artworks that can be found in the hilltop town!
These students are part of a special course run in collaboration with the First-Year Scholars Program of SAIC.
