Art History Excursions to Florence with Brandeis-in-Siena students
Our summer students from the Brandies-in-Siena program have gone on two excursions in Florence led by Art History Professor Roberto Fineschi and Painting Professor Joseph Wardwell. Students have had the chance to sketch from direct observation the city's masterpieces of art and architecture, and participate in guided tours. Sites visited included the Uffizi, Accademia, and Bargello museums as well as the church of Santa Maria Novella and the Brancacci chapel.
