"Art, at what price?" panel discussion at Palazzo Sansedoni June 8 2019, 5:15pm

On June 9 2019 the Siena Art Institute will host a panel discussion "Art, at what price?", with presentations by Nathaniel Kahn (director of "The Price of Everything") Zhanna Kadyrova (artist, Venice Biennale 2019) Kuralai Abdukhalikova (vice-director of Les Moulins, Galleria Continua, Paris) and moderated by artist Jane South (Advisory Board of the Siena Art Institute and Chair of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute, NY). The event will be take place at 5:15pm at the Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena (address: Palazzo Sansedoni, Via Banchi di Sotto 34, Siena). Presentations will be in English.

The Siena Art Institute's "Art, at what price?" panel discussion event on June 8 is part of the Preview event celebrating the move to our new location in Siena, "Il Punto / The Point," located alongside the historic city gate Porta Romana (street address via Enea Silvio Piccolomini 2, Siena).  

Il Punto / The Point will be the new home of our 3 organizations: The Siena Art Institute, The Siena School for Liberal Arts, and the Mason Perkins Deafness Fund.  

Together, our organizations offer a wide array of cultural programs to serve local and international communities, including study-abroad programs, intensive courses, workshops, conferences, residencies, and special events. Our areas of focus include creative arts, interdisciplinary studies, sign language, and sustainability.

The Preview event on June 8 2019 will begin at 3pm at our new location with an "Open Studio" featuring work by our current artists-in-residence and video footage of our recent activities.
