Daniela Passeri
Sustainability Track Instructor

I was born in Venice, I have been living in Milano for many years and I finally settled in Siena.

I have been working as a journalist for most of my life, travelling a lot and investigating into environmental and food issues.

Beside that, I try very hard to build a food citizenship in Siena, being the president of a Solidarity Purchase Group (Gruppo di Acquisto Solidale, GAS) and other related activities.

I grow my vegetable garden and I cook every day (also for my dog).

I belong to the Associazione per la Decrescita (Degrowth Association) that promote a downscaling of production and consumption that increases human well-being and enhances ecological conditions and equity on the planet.

Education:

After attending the School of Journalism, I graduated in Political Sciences in Siena (2004).

In 2010, I attended some seminars by Arsia (Agenzia regionale per lo sviluppo e l'innovazione in Agricoltura, Florence) on short food supply chains.

In 2012, Master in Environmental Law (University of Siena)
