Dejan Atanackovic, Professor of Art, Digital Multimedia

Since 1996 the visual art projects by Dejan Atanackovic have been presented internationally in form of video installation, music, public interventions, TV production and curatorial concepts. He is the founder of the Belgrade's Center for International Studies of Art, and the curator of the Outside Project, an exchange program in art education between Belgrade and Florence, dedicated to the study of cities. Outside Project has been accomplished since 2005, according to a Protocol signed between the two cities, with participation of over 300 students, artists and lecturers. He teaches multimedia art at the Studio Art Centers International in Florence since 2000, and has also taught at the Academy of Fine Arts (where he graduated in 1996), LABA, Florence University of Arts (FUA). Since 2009 he coordinates Belgrade: Another Gaze, a project of social inclusion that prepares members of marginalized groups (minorities, persons with disability) to work as tourist guides. The project includes workshops, public tours, TV production and exhibitions.
