Undergraduate Study
Abroad Program

Other Funding Resources

In addition to applying for The Siena Art Institute's scholarship program and confirming that your current financial aid will transfer from you home university, we encourage you to explore additional scholarship resources.

Because study-abroad is recognized to be an invaluable (and often expensive!) experience, there are numerous charity organizations with scholarship funds specifically designated to support students applying to study-abroad programs.

The following list of other scholarship resources is by no means complete, but is meant to serve as a resource for you in your search for additional funding sources:
..........................

-A very helpful resource is the National Italian American Foundation's Scholarship Handbook, a free 48-page booklet that can be downloaded off the NIAF website: www.niaf.org/research/scholarship_handbook.asp
Abroad101 / CEA Global Education  http://www.studyabroad101.com/giveaway
Abroad101.com, which is the largest study abroad review website, has teamed up with CEA Global Education to promote international education by offering you a chance to earn a $5000 Scholarship! All you need to do is click on the link above that will direct you to the scholarship entry page. Then write a very brief description as to why you think you deserve the scholarship and how you would incorporate what you learned during your time abroad to your school or community after returning home. After that, use your social networking tools to get as many people to "Like' your entry. The entrant with the most Facebook "Likes" and the highest quality response will be a few thousand dollars closer to studying abroad! It's as simple as that. The deadline for this scholarship is February 15th, and the more time you have for people to "Like" your entry, the greater chance you'll have to win!
