Video Alexandros Georgiou, Resident Artist
Creating artwork through his experience of travel, Resident Artist Alexandros Georgiou was a welcome addition to our Fall 2016 semester's activities. Between Greece, India, and New York, his art "en route" involves photographing small details that capture his interest in places he visits, then photocopying and highlighting these focal points to create low-tech handwritten postcards which are then sent to project participants, providing a glimpse into his explorations, encounters, and personal experiences during his travels.
